The reason we exist is to protect pristine wilderness areas and the flora and fauna – or biodiversity that they support.  We believe that in protecting those areas, and including the local communities in this process, we will make a difference in New Mexico and ultimately the world.  In the Words of John Muir, "When you bring people into contact with wild places, ancient cultures and extraordinary live, something changes them from within and they become advocates and partners in the preservation process."
